Recommend or Not

50/50 (2011)

I wasn’t crazy about this film the first time I saw. I thought it was a bit ham-fisted and the whole film felt like it was trying just a bit too hard. But watching it again has changed my mind. It’s actually a really nice film. It’s a funny film. And the serious bits are all done really well. You really get a feel for JGL’s situation here.

And it references Wales in a non-insulting way. Oh, and Seth Rogen calls a girl a cunt and JGL gets a greyhound called Skeletor. Win.

Definitely Recommend.
